What’s your position?
I’m a co-director of the agency, and I’d like to think the font of all knowledge, although, in reality, it’s probably best defined as a general dog’s body.

How long have you worked at Cleeve Residential?
My dad founded the agency, so I’ve grown up constantly around it.

How long have you worked in the estate agent industry?
For more than 12 Years.

What makes your agency different from others?
We sit next to you and tell you what you need to hear, not opposite you and tell you what you want to hear.

How long have you lived in the local area?
All my life - 40 Years, I’ve given my age away now!

Describe your approach to work in three words.
I’d like to think it’s friendly, direct and knowledgeable.

How do you think your colleagues would describe you?
Oh dear, probably always hungry and loud, especially when I’m hungry.

What’s the best part of your job?
When Emily gets to work on time

What’s the biggest challenge you face in your role?
Getting Emily, our lovely property manager, to work on time.

What makes you happy at work?
When Emily gets to work on time, and knowing we’ve done an excellent job for our clients.

What would have been your dream job if you hadn’t worked in the estate agent industry?
Probably an actor – I could see myself as an action hero, like Tony Stark from Iron Man, although our team might not.

What’s been the proudest moment of your career?
Buying the company from my father and working alongside my wife, Bex, to run it successfully.

How do you relax away from the office?
Brazilian Jujitsu – a great stress buster.

What’s the thing you are most likely to hear in your office?
What are we doing for lunch?

Do you have a hidden talent/hobby you are passionate about?
Drawing Marvel Characters for my son.

If you won £10 million, how would you spend it?
Investing in local property…… and maybe acting lessons.

If you could give one tip to homeowners preparing to sell or rent out their property, what would it be?
Presentation is key. You only get one chance to make a first impression, so do all you can (including listening to your estate agent’s advice) to show our property in its best possible light.
