What’s your role?
Along with my husband, John, I’m a co-director of the agency.

How long have you worked at Cleeve Residential?
Since 2016.

How long have you worked in the estate agent industry?
Working here was my first foray into the wonderful world of estate agency.

What makes your agency special?
We genuinely care and go above and beyond for the people we work with. Be they a seller, landlord, tenant or buyer, right through to our contractors and the people who regularly pop into our office for a cuppa.

We’re also very involved with the local community in many ways.

How long have you lived in the local area?
Nearly 40 years. I was born in Portugal and came here when I was six months old for the weather!

Describe your approach to work in three words.
Precise. Considerate. Planned.

How do you think your colleagues would describe you?
I think it would be as kind, always willing to help others, a lover of lists, and on a mad rush everywhere. Rarely eating a full meal and surviving on coffee, fruit corner yoghurt, and Mars bars!

What’s the best part of your job?
Helping people move into their dream home. Not all moves are happy, as in death or divorce, but it always makes me feel good knowing you’ve helped people move on to the next key stage of their life.

What’s the biggest challenge you face in your role?
I won’t and don’t lie! However, it seems many other agents overpromise service, the value of the home etc......… which I won’t do as I live in the village where most of the properties we serve are based. I don’t want to face awkward conversations in Tesco or on the school run!

What makes you happy?
Being outside and feeling the fresh air and sun on my skin. I love Cleeve Hill, where I walk most mornings before everyone else is up.

What would have been your dream job if you hadn’t worked in the estate agent industry?
Anything with horses! In my previous marketing job, we had JonJo O’Neil as a client, and I spent every meeting there gazing at the live-in stable hands/jockeys working out how to land a job there.

What’s been the proudest moment of your career?
Signing up a house we sold for more than £1m.

How do you relax away from the office?
Being with the family, often outdoors on a walk where the kids moan halfway around, but after a packed lunch, they are as happy as Larry.

What’s the thing you are most likely to hear in your office?
"What shall we get for lunch?"

If you won £10 million, how would you spend it?
Buy a house with land and stables, then go to Disney with the kids. After that, I’d save the rest.

If you could give one tip to homeowners preparing to sell or rent out their property, what would it be?
Present your home as you would if you were looking to move. Aim to create the feeling that someone can move right in as it is.
